Attend a Broadway Play

The Metropolitan Museum of Art of New York City, colloquially known "the Met", is the largest art museum in the United States. It has millions of visitors a year that come from all around the world & as of 2016 it was the third most visited art museum in the world and the fifth most visited museum of any kind. Its located on the famed 5th Avenue in Manhattan so if your up to the walk, take a long stroll through central park, see the animals at the central park zoo and then have lunch at The Plaza or Bergdorfs. Don't forget to visit the rooftop garden at The Met which has breathtaking views of  upper eastside penthouses and central park seemingly floating beneath you.

The Frick Collection is an art museum located in the Henry Clay Frick House on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. It houses the art & antique collection of industrialist Henry Clay Frick. The main attraction is the beautiful Garden Court Inside. Be cautious taking photos as it not allowed unless you're in the Garden Court believe me I got scolded for it. lol

The Museum of Modern Art is an art museum located in Midtown Manhattan in New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. MoMA has been important in developing and collecting modernist art and is often identified as one of the largest and most influential museums of modern art in the world. It also happens to be directly across the street from The Baccarat Hotel, so make a day of it and have lunch in the restaurant after your day in the museum.

The American Museum of Natural History, located on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City, is one of the largest museums in the world. It houses some of the most beautiful displays of  Dinosaur Fossils and has a really cool planetarium.

Museums are often physically beautiful places, but they're also beautiful because of the amount of history they contain, its very interesting to look back and see how societies before us used to live and what they've created. They also have really good restaurants a lot of times and beautiful views of the cities they're in. Here are the museums you can't leave NYC without seeing.
