alora City Travel

I could easily start every section of this city guide with the words "There's literally an endless amount of options for..." because NYC literally has an endless amount of things to do, eat & see. In my opinion, this is the one major city where you have full license to embrace your inner tourist. Do all the touristy things first, get acquainted with the history of New York & then find your own version of the city. Go to Top of the Empire State Building, get lost in the MET, visit Times Square at night, attend a Broadway show, visit the One World Observatory & take the ferry to the Statue of Liberty. I beg you please embrace your inner tourist...but don't dress like one. This is the most fashionable city in the world. Dress the part. You could probably live in NYC for 10 years and still not do everything worth doing & by the time you've accomplished everything on you've set out to do, there will be about 20 new things to do. But hey that's the fun of NYC. Your waitress might be an up & coming model that just booked her first job, your shopkeeper might be a cute surfer from Australia, or the person at the table next to you might be a park avenue billionaire just enjoying his morning coffee, you never know whom you'll meet. Everyone finds that they usually develop a love for a particular area of NYC. Maybe you'll fall in love with the Lower East Eide, Soho, Brooklyn, the Upper East Side, the Upper West Side, Chinatown, Little Italy or Greenwich Village. Maybe you'll fall in love with all of them. There's also an endless amount of ways to get around. You can take the subway, take LYFT, take the bus, take a helicopter, dial the 7's and get a town car, walk & bike. There's an endless amount of places to eat & drink. Have Sunday brunch at The Rainbow room on top of the Rockefeller Center. Get a halal gyro in Times square. Have a late dinner at Balthazar, fall in love at The Flower Shop & finish up with a glass of prosecco at Bemelmans Bar. I could go on for days. So before I get carried away enjoy this city guide. Follow it to the t & then get lost and find your own version. But most importantly Enjoy New York!
