Alora City SURF: THE QUIETER YOU ARE THE MORE YOU CAN HEAR

Updated: Mar 20

The first time I saw Craig Anderson in anything was in Riley Blakeways's "Water and Oil" A very beautiful and very impactful film for me. It starts off with an amazing song by Pure X and has some of the prettiest colors ever and the sunflower scenes and the Memoryhouse Remix in the middle are very pretty. I could continue to wax poetic about that but I'll think I'll talk about the film above for the rest of this. Its edited by everyone's favorite filmmaker Kai Neville, who has this beautiful way of editing that's just leaves you in awe & the best taste in music. Listen Now, Misty Dawn and Beauty Pockets are some of my most favorites and I'm going to add this one to the list. I had to pause it in the middle just to shed a tear. I adore films with no words. More Art House. I think that's what I love about surf movies the most. The Music. Even more than that the well put together jumbled moments of beauty, the ability to watch another person's memories on an LCD screen. Superfluous words are non-existent, and it's entrancing. The quieter you are the more you can hear is so true, its okay to step away for a moment, and its funny because when you do, people appreciate even more so what you have to say when you're back. Watch this film and stare into the blue void. The adventure that never seems to die with these kids. It makes me want to keep going. I'm in my mid-20's & its nice to know I haven't really seen anything yet. The world is so crazy & messed up at the moment but there's still so much beauty out there. What a time to be alive & kicking & screaming at the top of our lungs. - Jonetia, CEO of Alora City
