Whereto Nightlife

Parc du Champ-de-Mars

2 Allée Adrienne Lecouvreur, 75007

Opened in 1780, the Parc du Champ-de-Mars extends from the École Militaire to the Eiffel Tower. A hotspot for events, it can be accessed freely and offers the most beautiful view of the capital’s landmark monument. Parisians and tourists gather on its lawns to picnic, play music, and watch the Eiffel Tower’s twinkling lights at nightfall. One of the pleasant surprises you will find in the park is the Mur pour la Paix (Wall for Peace), built in March 2000, in front of the École Militaire.

Cafe de la Danse

5, passage Louis Philippe 75011

Situated in the heart of the Bastille district, the Café de la Danse is one of the top venues on the music scene in Paris. Its eclectic and open programme emphasizes the friendly atmosphere of the place. I went up to the ticket booth and there was a guy who told me welcome to paris I went to see Gold Panda, but they always have good bands coming so check their site to see who's playing while you're in town.

Its almost Midnight in Paris, where would you want to be? Hand in hand with your lover strolling the seine, drinking wine in a Jazz Bar, on a terrace drinking with a view of the Eiffel Tower glittering for the whole city as far as the eye can see? If you're a night owl like I am you'll want to do all that and more. In many cities nightclubs are the go to, but you're in Paris, a city where nothing is the"norm" there are of course dance clubs in Paris but if traditional nightclubs exclusively meant for drinking and dancing with strangers to Top 40 hits aren't your thing, many good nights could be started with SongKick, a great website where you get alerts when your favorite music artist is coming to a city near you or a city you're going to be visiting. Check out these music venues and see your favorite band or discover a band you've never heard of and maybe you'll even get to meet them! There's a list of cool venues in Paris here, check their websites and see what events will be happening during your trip. Also don't forget to get in some night culture, stop by the Palais De Tokyo, its open till midnight all year except for certain holidays, and they have restaurants that have bars open till 2am. Don't forget to visit the Paris Opera house, even if opera isn't your thing its worth the ticket to get dressed up and get inside one of the most beautiful buildings in all of France. I beg you spend at least one night on top of the Eiffel Tower having dinner and walking around the levels, to see all of Paris sparkle from one of the highest points in the city and spend at least one night in front of the Eiffel Tower and plan a picnic on the Champ du Mars and clap with everyone when the Eiffel Tower sparkles for 5 minutes on top of every hour till 2am. Also I would also consider visiting the grounds of Sacre Coeur at least once at night to see the city float beneath you and bring wine for optimal Midnight in Paris Vibes. Have fun and stay alert and be safe! - Jonetia, CEO of Alora City
