Whereto Nightlife

Parc du Champ-de-Mars

2 Allée Adrienne Lecouvreur, 75007

Opened in 1780, the Parc du Champ-de-Mars extends from the École Militaire to the Eiffel Tower. A hotspot for events, it can be accessed freely and offers the most beautiful view of the capital’s landmark monument. Parisians and tourists gather on its lawns to picnic, play music, and watch the Eiffel Tower’s twinkling lights at nightfall. One of the pleasant surprises you will find in the park is the Mur pour la Paix (Wall for Peace), built in March 2000, in front of the École Militaire.

Cafe de la Danse

5, passage Louis Philippe 75011

Really awesome music venue in Williamsburg, keep a lookout on songkick or on their instagram for up & coming shows. I saw NYC band Small Black their a few years ago and the intimate vibe is quite nice.

If you're a night owl like I am, you'll want to know where you can go to get a drink and listen to some amazing live music. People think there's a lot of dance clubs in NYC and I'm sure there are but I don't like nightclubs unless they play Jazz or Rock music. So this guide is biased towards those genres :) Most good adventures start with SongKick, a great website where you get alerts when your favorite music artist is coming to a city near you or a city you're going to be visiting. Check out these music venues and see your favorite band or discover a band you've never heard of and maybe you'll even get to meet them!
